Job summary

Meade is seeking a Plumbing Designer III to develop plumbing systems for data centers, industrial buildings, and large-scale construction projects. You will design layouts, produce detailed Revit construction documents, and coordinate with engineers and clients to ensure integration with broader mechanical designs.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit expertise, knowledge of plumbing codes, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables while guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of plumbing design experience for commercial or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit for plumbing design and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and industry standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing system layouts, including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping.
• Utilize Revit to produce detailed plumbing construction documents, ensuring accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.
• Manage design schedules, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track.
• Select plumbing equipment and fixtures in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders while assisting with site visits, inspections, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to drafters and junior team members as needed.
