Job summary

Meade is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer III to lead the design and development of plumbing systems for data centers, industrial facilities, and large-scale commercial projects. This role requires strong Revit proficiency and deep knowledge of plumbing codes, industry standards, and best practices.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams, architects, contractors, and clients to deliver cost-effective plumbing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of professional plumbing design experience for commercial/industrial projects.
• Active PE license preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit for plumbing design and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, NFPA standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of plumbing system layouts (domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, gas piping).
• Perform and review plumbing design calculations for code compliance.
• Utilize Revit to produce and review plumbing construction documents.
• Oversee design schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
• Select equipment and fixtures based on project specs and efficiency goals.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders; assist with field verification.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers.
