Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking a Plumbing Designer III to design and coordinate plumbing systems for data centers, industrial buildings, and large-scale projects. The role emphasizes Revit design, code compliance, and collaboration with engineers and clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong Revit expertise, knowledge of plumbing codes, and the ability to manage design deliverables while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in plumbing design for commercial or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit for plumbing system design and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, industry standards, and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing layouts for systems including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping.
• Use Revit to produce detailed plumbing construction documents with cross-discipline coordination.
• Manage design schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Select plumbing equipment and fixtures per project specifications and standards.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders while assisting with site visits and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers for seamless integration.
• Provide technical guidance to drafters and junior staff.
