Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Data Center Operations Support Technician to provide site-based technical and operational support within high-availability data center environments. The role focuses on daily operations, monitoring, maintenance and routine tasks with supervision by a senior technician.

You will perform hardware/software installation, configure operations, monitor systems, and update applications while partnering with vendors for repairs. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Technical certifications in IT are preferred.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and IT hardware is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for data center systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs.
• Perform standard maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist with cabling, racking, and server installations as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to alerts.
