Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in USA/Mesa, AZ is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join a team responsible for testing, maintaining, and operating critical data center infrastructure.

The role supports power, cooling, fire/life safety, and building automation systems to ensure 24/7 reliability. The position involves on-site work, collaboration with contractors, and hands-on troubleshooting of mission-critical facilities, with shifts that can be up to 12 hours and may rotate

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, or 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
• Perform rack installs and rack decommissioning within internal SLA.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
