Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician to support the facility and equipment that power AWS data centers. You will perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, monitor complex systems, and coordinate with contractors to ensure continuous operation.

Expect to work in a highly secure, high-availability environment with rotating shifts, on-call options, and opportunities for career growth within AWS Infrastructure Services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience or 2+ years electrical and 1+ years mechanical experience.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds monitoring electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS and assist in troubleshooting facility events.
• Perform rack installs/decommissions and PMs within SLA; coordinate with vendors.
