Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks hands-on Data Center Operations Technicians to maintain and operate critical infrastructure in our world‑class data centers.

You will work with teams of front‑line responders to ensure 24/7 reliability of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems. You will monitor BMS and EPMS, troubleshoot events, perform rack installations and decommissions, and contribute to change management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical experience in electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, and/or fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Install and decommission racks within SLA.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and repairs.
• Create technical documentation to support change management.
