Job summary

CyrusOne seeks a Critical Environments Operator to support 24/7/365 data center operations, monitoring electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems while ensuring safety, reliability, and top-quality service. This role accommodates various experience levels, with clear progression opportunities across four levels.

You will operate, monitor, and maintain critical infrastructure, respond to alarms, perform PMs, and coordinate safely with vendors. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/R systems to ensure uptime.
• Respond to alarms, prioritize critical loads, and analyze root causes.
• Execute preventive maintenance per SOPs and MOPs.
• Use CMMS to track work orders, labor, and PMs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; enforce safety protocols.
• Perform equipment modifications and safe work area setup.
• Maintain compliance with policies and EHS requirements.
• Senior level: mentor junior operators and participate in capacity planning.
