Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking Critical Environments Operators to join their 24/7 Operations & Maintenance team in the United States. This position involves monitoring and maintaining data center infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/R systems, while ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in operations, maintenance, or customer service roles for Level I.
• 3–5 years in data centers or technical facility maintenance for Level II.
• 5–7 years of data center or building engineering experience for Level III.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with journeyman or master level expertise for Level IV.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate data center mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/R systems.
• Respond to building system alarms and prioritize critical load protection.
• Execute preventive maintenance work orders according to SOPs.
• Use CMMS to track work orders and labor hours.
• Coordinate with contractors and enforce safety protocols.
• Perform equipment operational modifications and critical switching.
• Provide mentorship to junior operators and lead critical events.
