Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring for a Data Center Operations role in the United States. You will serve as the on-site SME for data center critical infrastructure, managing escalations and coordinating with engineering and facilities teams to maintain reliability.

You will own change management for high-risk maintenance, audit site performance, and collaborate with colo partners and vendors to drive operational excellence. The role demands hands-on leadership in hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading live data center operations.
• Deep understanding of power, cooling and critical infrastructure.
• Experience running change management for high-risk work.
• On-call readiness for 24/7 incidents.
• Ability to audit, document and improve operating posture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site SME for data center critical infrastructure and handle escalations.
• Audit design limitations and assess partners' maintenance programs for effectiveness.
• Own the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in the data center.
• Act as first responder on-site for incidents and drive resolution with engineering support.
• Partner with colo partners, vendors, and internal teams to maintain site reliability and feed learnings back into design.
