Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a hands-on operations leader to run 24/7/365 critical infrastructure at a key data center site in Texas. You will own safety, build a capable site team, and drive high-velocity repair and incident management to meet customer SLAs.

You will partner with construction and commissioning teams during live builds and push for operational readiness and rigorous handover into steady-state operations.

Qualifications

• You've run 24/7 critical facility operations where availability was contractual.
• You know electrical and mechanical infrastructure deeply enough to discuss details with technicians.
• You've run a high-volume repair or break-fix operation for server fleets or network fabrics.
• You've built and developed technical teams through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• You've operated safety programs (LOTO, electrical safety, hazardous energy control) effectively.
• You've partnered with construction/commissioning teams during live builds and identified gaps early.
• You communicate RCA and status updates clearly to executives or customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7/365 operation of all critical infrastructure at the site.
• Own site safety in partnership with HSE and manage hazardous energy control.
• Build and lead the full site team including operators and technicians.
• Manage hardware and network repair queues, triage, and break-fix with time-to-repair metrics.
• Run incident and change management with root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with construction, commissioning, colo providers, and utilities during live builds.
