This is a practical, hands-on position covering data centres, colocation facilities and internal equipment rooms. You will work across the operational lifecycle, from installing hardware and cabling through troubleshooting, capacity planning and improving the processes used to run resilient sites.
The role is based at data-centre sites in New Jersey, with occasional visits across the New York metropolitan area. Some evening and weekend work is required, so reliable transport and flexibility are important.
Exposure to data-centre buildouts or migrations, liquid cooling, power balancing, structured cabling or infrastructure automation would be valuable. Financial-services experience may help but is not required.
