Job summary

DataOne in Vineland, NJ, seeks an experienced Data Center Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical facility infrastructure supporting mission-critical data center operations. You will work on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, BMS/DCIM usage, and collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training or associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance, data center ops, or equivalent military/technical experience.
• Reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure: UPS, generators, ATS/switchgear, PDUs.
• Maintain CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers; life-safety systems and BMS/DCIM tools.
• Document maintenance logs and work orders; coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
