Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead 24x7 engineering teams and own the operation of critical data center infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and performance. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and serving as after-hours on-call manager for regional data centers, driving improvements from conception to completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years in a management role with 5+ direct reports.
• 5+ years in data center or mission-critical environment with UPS, generators, HVAC, etc., OR 7+ years of technical (military/trade) training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Routinely operate as the after-hours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for regional data centers.
