You will manage 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers, coordinate improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• 5+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 5+ direct reports.
• 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
• 3+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical data center operations (feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, chillers, CRAC units, pumps, AHUs).
• Ability to communicate technical details verbally and in writing.
• Comfort working in cramped spaces or elevated locations with safety guidelines.
• Experience mentoring and developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance across shifts.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive from conception to completion.
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained and expanded with growth.
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third‑party vendors ensuring SLAs are met.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
