Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead critical physical infrastructure and ensure reliable, cost-efficient operations for our global data center network.

You will manage 24/7 engineering teams, drive improvement projects, and coordinate with vendors to meet SLAs. The role includes after-hours on-call responsibilities, incident response, and ongoing optimization of electrical and mechanical systems, cooling, and building automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role with at least 5 direct reports.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure, ensuring every activity meets high-quality standards without impacting internal or external customers.
• Manage teams of 24/7 engineering technicians and guide their career progression.
• Engage in improvement projects, driving them from concept to completion in coordination with support teams.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors to ensure adherence to contracted service level agreements.
• Manage the operations budget and expenditures efficiently.
• Act as the after‑hours on‑call Data Center Facility Manager for the region, responding to incidents and overseeing investigation, mitigation, and recovery.
