Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Center Facility Manager to lead the operations of critical data center infrastructure.

You will supervise 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers, ensuring reliability, safety, and cost-effective performance across electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires strong leadership, project coordination, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products experience
• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience with 8-10 direct reports
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical and mechanical systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure, ensuring high quality work with no impact to customers
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team while delivering a positive customer experience
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers across all career facets
• Lead improvement projects and coordinate with support teams to drive initiatives to completion
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained and scaled with expansions
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities affecting data center operations
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to ensure SLAs are met
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures
