Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Manager of Data Center Operations to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems across the data center. The role involves leading a team, managing vendor relations, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

You will drive operational excellence, optimize energy use, and manage budgets while coordinating project initiatives from conception to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years in a mechanical/electrical role within critical facilities recommended.
• Experience managing facility maintenance programs and budgets is valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as data center subject matter expert for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Lead operations to maximize efficiency while maintaining uptime and safety.
• Manage vendors, service contracts, and procurement activities.
• Plan and oversee budgets (CapEx and OpEx) and forecast expenditures.
