Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Manager of Data Center Operations to oversee the daily running of electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems in our NJ data center. You will manage vendors, budgets, projects, and staff to ensure uptime and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5–7+ years in data center facilities, strong leadership, and expertise in commissioning, MOP writing, and energy efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in related facilities roles.
• Strong leadership with vendor and project management experience.
• Experience managing facility preventive maintenance programs and budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Develop budgets and forecasts (CapEx/OpEx) and track ROI.
• Ensure SLA adherence and incident response; train staff.
