Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician Lead to oversee and support operations across our data center environments. You will diagnose hardware and network issues using CLI tools and lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality, SLA-driven support.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise in server, storage, and network hardware, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, document RCA, and uphold safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent hands-on DC ops experience.
• 5+ years IT support, hardware diagnostics, repair in enterprise environments.
• Strong CLI-based tooling experience (Cisco CLI, Linux shell, iDRAC, iLO).
• Experience diagnosing and repairing server, storage, network hardware.
• Familiarity with network commands and monitoring tools (ping, traceroute, SNMP).
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills; able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead DC operations across server, storage, and network hardware.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using CLI tools to identify issues.
• Oversee physical hardware repair and part replacements.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1–3 network issues.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors for RMA and warranty claims.
• Maintain documentation for incident resolution and root cause.
• Manage ticket queues and SLA adherence.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades and migrations.
• Ensure compliance with MOPs and CMOPs.
