Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Network Operations Lead to oversee hardware repair and 24/7/365 operations across large-scale environments. You will lead field technicians, diagnose issues via CLI, manage escalations, and ensure SLA‑driven service.

This role requires travel up to 10% and strong leadership in high‑availability settings. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT support, hardware diagnostics, and 2+ years of people management, with experience in fiber, server, and network

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent hands‑on data center ops experience.
• 5+ years IT support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years people management or team leadership.
• Strong proficiency with CLI-based tools (Cisco CLI, Linux shell, iDRAC, iLO).
• Experience troubleshooting fiber, server, storage, and network hardware.
• Familiarity with network protocols (ping, traceroute, SNMP, syslog).
• Excellent problem‑solving and ability to work under high availability pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership with customer‑focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between data center sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based technical teams to deliver rapid hardware repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain incident resolution docs, RCA, and repair procedures.
• Manage ticket queues and ensure SLA adherence through prioritization and escalation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to technicians.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and maintenance windows.
• Ensure compliance with MOPs and CMOPs and contribute to their improvement.
• Provide coverage in absence of Site Supervisor and lead daily team activities.
• Monitor performance against daily/weekly targets and ensure safety standards.
