Brivo in Austin seeks a hands-on Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to guarantee reliability and scalability of our global data center footprint, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning hardware while defining standards for high availability.

You will lead deployments, resolve complex operational issues, and drive automation and documentation improvements, collaborating with teams to optimize asset management, capacity planning, and incident response.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in data center operations, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role.
• Austin-local (regular travel within the Austin metro area; no remote).
• Experience with DCIM and infrastructure management tools such as NetBox or Nautobot.
• Strong root‑cause‑analysis and troubleshooting skills across server hardware and physical infrastructure.
• Automation‑oriented mindset with an AI‑native posture (active user of tools like Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT).

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, maintain, upgrade, and decommission servers, storage, networking, and data center infrastructure.
• Serve as the technical lead for physical infrastructure deployments and complex operational issues.
• Drive automation and process improvements that reduce manual effort across data center operations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis for infrastructure incidents, manage asset inventory, and lead capacity planning.
