Confidential is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to join the Facility Operations team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on maintaining EPMS, BAS, and BMS for all data centers and developing new control standards to improve reliability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data center or critical facilities, with proven experience in commissioning, PLCs, and SCADA systems, and will coordinate with vendors and internal teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of data center or critical facility experience.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), PLC programming, and SCADA architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and operations teams to develop and enforce automation logic.
• Manage cross-functional partnerships to troubleshoot control loop issues with 3rd party vendors and contractors.
• Assist in project meetings; report status to management.
• Lead commissioning lifecycle for BAS, BMS, and EPMS to validate system performance.
• Oversee testing and tuning of plant controls; ensure data visibility and reliability.
