Job summary

Brivo, Inc. in Austin is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of our global data center infrastructure.

You will manage the end-to-end hardware lifecycle—deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning equipment—while driving automation and process improvements. As the technical lead for deployments and complex issues, you will establish technical standards and ensure high availability across Brivo's sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center operations, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role.
• Austin-local (regular travel within the Austin metro area; no remote).
• Experience with DCIM and infrastructure management tools such as NetBox or Nautobot.
• Strong root-cause-analysis and troubleshooting skills across server hardware and physical infrastructure.
• Automation-oriented mindset with an AI-native posture (active user of tools like Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT).

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 / year

Description

This is a hands-on technical role focused on the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of Brivo's global data center infrastructure.
