Job summary

Core Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician in Austin, TX to monitor and manage power, cooling, and environmental conditions.

You will act as a first responder to incidents and manage data center work orders to ensure timely completion while following safety policies. Responsibilities include utilizing CMMS and BMS data, coordinating preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate facility records.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of electrical distribution, power systems and site safety.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and monitoring systems.
• Ability to read schematics and perform basic math for calculations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor power, cooling and environmental conditions in the data center.
• Respond to incidents and manage data center workflows per procedures.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with internal and customer stakeholders.
• Escalate issues and document resolutions clearly for leadership.
• Maintain facility data, PMs and change records with accuracy.
