Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to join our data center operations team in a 24x7 environment. You will contribute to daily site operations, maintenance of mission critical equipment, and the creation of SOPs, EOPs, and change tickets. Strong mechanical or electrical skills and a focus on uptime are required.

The role emphasizes adherence to client SLAs, incident reporting, and working with CMMS and DCIM systems. Competitive benefits and safety standards are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in mission critical facilities operating / engineering.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with cross‑discipline competence.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency principles and UPS/HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operations and maintenance of mission critical equipment.
• Create and modify SOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and change management tickets.
• Inspect and repair equipment; generate incident reports and maintain safety standards.
• Understand client SLAs, site layout, and equipment SOOs/OPs; assist in incident escalation.
