Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the operation of mission-critical data center infrastructure. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, cooling, monitoring, and life-safety systems to maximize uptime and resiliency.

Responsibilities include managing a 24/7 technical team, coordinating with vendors, and guiding capacity planning and upgrades. Strong experience with BMS/EPMS/DCIM and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in critical facilities, data center engineering, or similar environments.
• Minimum 3–5 years in supervisory or leadership roles managing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, HVAC and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure.
• Monitor alarms and coordinate incident response and RCA for critical events.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, procedures, and change management.
• Oversee vendor/contractor activities and turnover work in critical environments.
• Support capacity planning, upgrades, and asset lifecycle planning.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
