Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to join the Data Center Operations team in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on operating and maintaining mission-critical systems including generators, UPS, HVAC, and BMS/CMMS tools to support 24x7 uptime.

The Engineer I will contribute to SOP creation, change management tickets, and incident reporting while ensuring compliance with SLAs and safety standards. Experience in electrical or mechanical work is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission critical infrastructure and site operations.
• Ability to contribute to daily site operations, SOPs, and incident reporting.
• Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain data center systems to achieve high uptime.
• Assist in change management, MOPs, and incident reporting.
• Perform rounds, inspections, and basic repairs with safety compliance.
