Job summary

JLL in Allen, TX is seeking an Operating Engineer S3 - Critical Environments to maintain, troubleshoot and repair data center systems. You will focus on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and central plant operations while ensuring 100% uptime and safety.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and hands-on skills with CMMS, vendor management, and customer-facing tickets. Corrigo and ServiceNow experience are a plus; relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years related work experience in data center facilities.
• Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient in using CMMS and coordinating with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance of all data center systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Analyze system operation and troubleshoot malfunctions; take corrective action.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper hazardous materials handling.
• Manage work orders, vendors, and customer-facing tickets.
• Understand emergency escalation procedures and respond to site incidents.
