JLL in New Albany, OH is seeking a Critical Environments Operating Engineer to maintain mission-critical data center infrastructure, ensuring 100% uptime across UPS, generators, cooling, and power systems.

You will monitor, adjust, and maintain equipment, record readings, and manage work orders through CMMS while coordinating with vendors and responding to emergencies. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology and opportunities to advance in critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center or critical facility.
• Experience with mission-critical building systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Flexible to work holidays and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Monitor refrigeration, HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, valves, piping and electrical systems.
• Record readings, analyze operations, identify problems and take corrective action.
• Manage work orders through CMMS and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to site emergencies and follow safety procedures.
• Develop understanding of data center infrastructure to manage incidents.
