Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Critical Environment Operations Engineer to maintain and optimize HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in on-site facilities, including data centers. You will ensure energy efficiency, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety and procedural standards while handling MOPs, CMMS documentation, and cross-disciplinary tasks.

The role requires 4+ years in building engineering with strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus EPA

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical experience in building engineering with focus on packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of system design and applications.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute critical environment protocols and MOP processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
• Operate HVAC, CRAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Master building automation and fire/life safety equipment.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions daily.
• Complete safety training and comply with procedures.
• Identify and address safety hazards.
• Maintain compliance with local codes and laws.
• Use CMMS systems for documentation.
• Escalate issues to customers and management as needed.
• Attend work and safety meetings.
