Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer to drive safety, reliability, and efficiency across critical data center infrastructure. You will lead maintenance, projects, and vendor coordination to deliver high-availability services for AWS customers.

Responsibilities include mentoring EOT staff, standardizing procedures, and directing engineering teams through complex modernization efforts while maintaining cost discipline and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities management experience.
• Experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• 5+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain high safety standards and promote a world-class safety culture.
• Drive continuous infrastructure improvements via standardized procedures and metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations Principals to streamline maintenance and risk assessment.
• Enable 100% uptime for customer supporting infrastructure.
• Train and mentor technical operations staff in maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with third-party providers for operational excellence.
