Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a data center environment in Colorado City, TX. The role is on-site and night-shift, supporting critical mechanical and electrical systems.

You will inspect, monitor, and service equipment, respond to BMS alarms, and work with vendors to ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This is a hands-on role with tight procedures and a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends/holidays.
• Physically able to meet role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems and equipment servicing.
• Verify environmental conditions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and conduct emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Monitor and report subcontractor performance per the Master Service Agreement.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Read UPS/PDUs meters and assist with facility troubleshooting and fault fixes.
• Document maintenance activities and quality checks per processes and standards.
