Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc in Los Angeles is seeking a Level 2 Network Technician to maintain and support the data center infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, install hardware, and ensure the data center's cleanliness and organization.

You will work with the NOC or engineering team on IT devices, including servers, storage, switches, routers, firewalls, and cabling, with experience in MPOE/IDF/MDF rooms. Leadership of small on-site teams is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience leading a team executing a project.
• Experience in data center environments (MMR, Cages, Shared Areas).
• Knowledge of server hardware components and fault diagnosis.
• Understanding of networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Experience with structured cabling and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and install IT devices with guidance from NOC or engineering team.
• Handle physical servers, storage, server appliances, and network gear.
• Work on MPOE, IDF, and MDF rooms; manage cable organization.
• Support installations and migrations; assist with ladders and scissor lifts.
