Job summary

IREN on-site Construction Supervisor - Network role leads installation of structured cabling, fiber optics, and networking hardware for data centers. You will supervise field teams and subcontractors, coordinating across electrical, mechanical, and IT disciplines to meet design and safety standards.

This is a leadership-track role for a strong network professional seeking greater visibility and impact in renewable-powered data center construction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred; bachelor's degree advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in network infrastructure installation or low-voltage construction, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in data center environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, and networking hardware.
• Familiarity with TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA and construction safety practices.
• Ability to read drawings and project specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership; ability to manage subcontractors.
• Certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, or OSHA 30 are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and technicians installing network infrastructure.
• Review drawings and work packages for conformance with design standards.
• Monitor progress and report to Construction Manager or Project Manager.
• Inspect work for safety and quality per standards.
• Coordinate material deliveries and inventory tracking.
• Troubleshoot field issues and guide subcontractors as needed.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams for proper integration.
• Document completed work, inspections, and change orders.
• Support commissioning and testing before handover.
