Job summary

IREN is hiring a Construction Supervisor - Network in Childress, TX. You will lead the installation and integration of structured cabling, fiber optics, and network hardware across data-center projects, supervising field teams and subcontractors while coordinating with electrical, mechanical, and IT disciplines.

You should have at least 5 years in network infra or low-voltage construction, with 2+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred; bachelor’s a plus.
At least 5 years in network infrastructure installation or low-voltage construction, 2+ years supervisory.
Experience in data center or mission-critical facilities preferred.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, and networking hardware.
Familiarity with TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA and safety practices.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and leadership; experience managing subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and technicians installing network infrastructure.
Review drawings, specs, and work packages for design compliance.
Monitor progress and report to Construction Manager.
Conduct inspections for standards, safety, and procedures.
Oversee material deliveries, staging, and inventory of network components.
Troubleshoot field issues and guide subcontractors.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and IT teams for integration.
Document work, inspections, and change orders.
Support commissioning and testing before handover.
