Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join the Infrastructure Operations team in Canton, Mississippi. You will help scale and stabilize our next‑generation networks and assist in automating deployment and capacity planning, working with vendors and internal customers.

This role requires hands-on network support across data centers, troubleshooting, rack and power readiness, and occasional travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
