Job summary

Amazon in Canton, MS is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join the infrastructure operations team. You will help scale data center networks, automate and scale operations, and work with internal customers and vendors under Network Leadership.

The role requires hands-on hardware and networking experience, willingness to travel regionally, and availability for 24/7 on-call support. Starting pay is hourly with a range of $25.19–$44.08 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
