Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. You will support scalable data-center networks, assist in automation, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to drive project delivery.

You will work with networking, Linux, and hardware teams, perform rack and power considerations, and help expand capacity while following best practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in lifting and handling equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
