Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with a commissioning focus for a large data center project. You will lead on-site operations, safety, schedule, and coordination with trade contractors and the Project Manager.

You will collaborate with the owner and design team, ensure quality through AP's QA/QC programs, and develop site-specific safety plans while upholding the IIF culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCad, and project management software.
• Solid understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
• Proven results in driving safety initiatives and compliance.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an incident and injury free (IIF) culture.
• Manage on-site construction activities and ensure team training on tools and processes.
• Maintain updated construction drawings as a permanent record.
• Schedule and procure tools, equipment, and materials; conduct weekly toolbox talks.
• Ensure trade contractors meet schedule and quality requirements while maintaining good relationships.
• Manage project schedules, cost codes, budgets, and production units; report on productivity.
