Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a data center project near the Alexandria, LA area. You will manage on-site activities, safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with trade contractors while working with the Project Manager to lead the project team.

This role requires a proven track record in construction leadership, strong knowledge of plans and specs, and the ability to drive safety and productivity across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of building plans, specs, value engineering and life-cycle costing.
• Experience driving safety initiatives and OSHA 30 readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities and manage project schedules, costs and productivity.
• Direct field operations, safety programs, quality control and trade contractor coordination.
• Collaborate with owner and design team to meet project goals.
• Develop site safety plans and ensure incident-free culture on projects.
• Manage pre-construction planning, constructability reviews and procurement.
