Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Supervisor in Fort Wayne, Indiana to lead mechanical and HVAC maintenance activities at the data center. You will prioritize work, train staff, and ensure safety standards are followed while coordinating with client teams.

The role focuses on responding to work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and delivering reliable facilities operations with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance in data center or heavy industrial environments.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience with master’s degree.
• Ability to operate aerial/scissor lifts up to 30 feet.
• Experience in supervisory or subcontract management within technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center building systems and related equipment.
• Lead safety programs and audit safety actions.
• Manage and distribute work orders to technicians.
• Review and approve time reporting and compile reports for management.
• Communicate with site management and customer to resolve complex mechanical issues.
