Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Plumber II to join our operations and maintenance team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role provides intermediate expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and repairing fixtures and systems in a data center environment.

Under minimal supervision, you will support multi-craft maintenance, including non-licensed tasks, and assist licensed trades as directed. Valid safety practices and CMMS usage are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• 2-3 years of plumbing experience.
• Experience maintaining basic to complex plumbing needs.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
• May require additional licensing per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Determine location for and type, size and amount of material required, considering volume, pressure, temperature and substance.
• Lay out, construct, install, rebuild, maintain, repair, adjust, modify and test plumbing systems such as water, drain lines, lawn and fire sprinkler systems.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of underground sewer and water systems.
• Perform CMMS-based preventive maintenance inspections.
• Provide support to team, contractors, vendors, project managers and engineers as needed.
