Job summary

IREN US Operations Inc., part of the IREN group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead for our Texas data center campus in Sweetwater. You will lead the maintenance team, drive preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of building systems and grounds.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; CMMS and MS Office proficiency; and ability to operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced critical environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance in commercial/industrial/critical facilities; 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Experience maintaining facilities, corporate housing, fleet vehicles, trailers, grounds equipment, and other company-owned assets preferred.
• Experience operating telehandlers, forklifts, skid steers, aerial booms; current operator certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural building systems; ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with CMMS platforms.
• Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and proactive with ability to work in a fast-paced critical environment.
• Ability to work in various indoor/outdoor industrial settings including adverse weather and heights.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential functions.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to interact with leadership, colleagues, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance including facility inspections, grounds maintenance, landscaping, waste management, equipment servicing, and upkeep of company housing properties and vehicles.
• Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment including telehandlers, forklifts, skid steers, aerial lifts, and related site equipment.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and refill equipment on a regular schedule to maintain readiness.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, formulate solutions, and implement immediate and long-term actions.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and parts inventory in the CMMS.
