Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Supervisor – Civil / Structural to lead large-scale infrastructure on data-center projects at the Sweetwater, TX site. You will supervise earthworks, concrete, structural steel, and utilities, guiding field crews, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in civil construction with supervisory experience on data centers or high-tech facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years as a supervisor on data center or high-tech industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, including concrete, grading, paving, and underground utilities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project, MS Office Suite)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, and site utilities, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedule and specifications.
• Monitor and mentor subcontractors ensuring productivity and compliance with safety protocols.
• Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor work progress and quality, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Address deficiencies promptly. Ensure duties are performed safely and in compliance with all Company, Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with construction managers, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues, provide progress updates, and align on project goals.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders to track progress and support project reporting.
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges such as weather delays, design conflicts, or labor shortages to keep the project on track.
