Job summary

JLL is seeking a data center maintenance technician in Broomfield, CO to install, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems in a critical facility. You will monitor performance, run tests, and respond to issues to ensure continuous operation of the data center infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years of data center facilities experience, relevant licenses, and a focus on safety. Shift options include Swing and graveyard with an 8% differential; competitive compensation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs (or within 90 days of employment)
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing/piping equipment and controls in data center facilities
• Monitor operations and perform routine data center infrastructure checks
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance with minimal disruption to building services
• Oversee contractors and ensure warranty obligations are fulfilled
• Maintain logs and readings, ensure safety and compliance with hazardous materials handling
• Perform training and safety guidance for contractors and staff
