Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate for 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) in Leesburg, VA. The role involves inventory control, receiving, shipping, and assembly of server racks, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced data center environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations, maintain documentation, and support special projects while following GXO safety and security protocols and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Excel, Word).
• Ability to perform basic math and read safety/procedural documents.
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials and use material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory, including racks, networking equipment, and hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for items received and shipped.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers; prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Assemble and install server racks; assist with cable management and technician tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with disposal of packaging and obsolete equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and security measures for the data center; support cross-functional teams.
