Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Logistics Manager to lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and drive accountability across multiple sites. The role emphasizes urgency, strategic thinking, and coaching of team members to achieve business goals.

The position requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with Infrastructure teams, and the ability to manage complex deliverables while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience, or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Building and executing productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Logistics Managers to balance labor.
• Determine timelines that meet business and customer expectations; ensure they are met.
• Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Remove roadblocks and obstacles for major initiatives.
• Lead team meetings and travel between sites as needed.
