Job summary

Insight Global seeks a data center technician to support one of our largest technology clients in Boydton, VA. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with logistics, warehousing, IT support, cabling, or experience with heavy machinery, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.

You will assist with deploying on-site datacenter infrastructure, handle cables and hardware, log activities in a ticketed environment, manage inbound/outbound packages, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or warehousing is preferred.
• Background in IT support or cabling is a plus.
• Strong documentation and data-entry discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of on-site datacenter physical infrastructure.
• Install, replace and troubleshoot cables and hardware.
• Work within a ticket-based environment to document tasks.
• Perform logistics/warehouse support and escalate as needed.
• Document inbound and outbound packages and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records and perform cycle audits.
