Job summary

Salute is seeking a hands-on Data Center Facilities Technician to perform structured cabling installations and server rack deployments in a data center environment. This on-site role focuses on rack movements at the Boydton, VA site and requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power tools and ability to read and understand cabling maps.
• Ability to work at varying heights, in confined spaces, and on different surfaces.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; familiarity with reporting systems (SalesForce, ADP, Expensify).

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure structured cabling per project specs.
• Assist with server rack deployments and related hardware setup.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complete tasks assigned by Team Lead in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support QA by adhering to installation standards.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
